OneClick recognizes the use of custom icons that you may have created and pasted into an item's "Get Info" box. Examples of these are the popular 3D folder icons, custom Hard Disk Icons, etc. If you place an item on a palette that has a custom icon, OneClick! will use the custom icon.
Experienced OneClick users have reported that they often create custom icons to identify the palettes they have created. For example, their Word Processing palette file may have a small typewriter in the icon, or their Utilities palette file might have a small hammer in the icon. These custom icons make it easier to identify the palette on the Master palette. (See "Building a Master Palette" for more information). You can use your graphics program, ResEdit, of any of the thousands of shareware programs to create custom icons. An example set of custom palette icons is also included in the OneClick package. Refer to your Macintosh Reference Guide for instructions on how to use custom icons.
